Tornadoes over water. Commonly called waterspouts and can form out of the blue without warning during squally weather. I believe I got one while taking a few pics of the sky. It's been a while since I've seen one. Some can be freakishly long like a tentacle from a mothership above sucking fish and other sea life into the exosphere.
Anyone else see these? The weather today was just awful. Funny how people will get out of the pool when it rains (I understand their fear if thunder is heard). Not like it's going to matter if the water gets wet!
Nothing like a gentle backstroke while skinny dipping under broken clouds when a tropical shower suddenly appears!
