I think my kids were playing around in my drawer, and the USB 2 SDHC card reader that I use to transfer photos from my camera to my PC was missing. 15 minutes of searching didn't turn it up, so I realized I was in the market for a new card reader.
Instead of just buying another SDHC card reader, I decided to buy one that supports the SDXC cards, to try to "future proof" it a little. I didn't like the thought of buying a reader, then finding out it wouldn't read a new card in a year or two. This should support memory cards up to 2 Terabytes in size.
Anyway, I found this reader on Ebay. The seller has 70,000 plus feedback, so has evidently sold a lot of these. 98.7% positive feedback.
It has slots for both micro SDXC and full size SDXC cards.
Note that white card readers are $1.24, while black ones are $1.26 each. Shipping is free.
Also, please note that these have a rather long estimated time of arrival. Don't order a couple of these thinking they will be showing up in your mailbox in a few days. Based on my past experience, 3-5 weeks is more like it. If you'd really like to save some $, and don't mind slow shipping from Hong Kong, this might be a great deal for you. I ended up ordering 4 myself - enough so that if a few go missing, I'll have spares.
