Be careful though, cheap new PC133 RAM is "high density" and will not work in many older computers that use PC66 or PC100 RAM.

The memory selector at www.crucial.com can tell you what you need, and the FS/FT forum here is a good place to find used SDRAM cheap.

check local suppliers. i actually had 3 old sticks of 256 and exchanged them for $5 a pop for regular 256 DDR. good deal huh?

That is a real good deal. I just heard sdram is hard to find and is going up in price.
