would a PC-100 RAM be backwards compatible with a PC-66RAM Motherboard (Intel LX)?

It should be, I have never encountered a problem with them not being on the few systems with PC66 I have put PC100 into.

Unless the board is really picky, all SDRAM is always backward compatible.
