All right, I jsut ordered my 1.33 T-Bird. Now I'm in a fuss over Mobo's and Ram. Right now I'm using a P2 450 with 192MB PC100 ram. I know that this PC100 ram will not be the best for using with this CPU. So I'm wondering since I'm going to be replacing my ram anyways, should I just switch over to DDR and pay a little more. Or get a KT133A chipset MB and use my PC100 for a while and then buy some PC133 ram. I know right now the prices on DDR ram are high, but I won't be able to afford anew motherboard and ram for about a month, so that's more time for the prices to fall.

I need some expert advice as I am stuck in a tangle. And does PC2100 ram really boost performance that much?

I just got my DDR system with the overpriced PC2100 DDR SDRAM. It works, but right now it's not faster (if at all) than PC133. In a month, I would guess DDR will be priced nicely and for a very small premium I would buy it, but not at these price levels. I want some more DDR, but I'm waiting for some decent pricing. And current DDR modules are mostly CL 2.5 and not super overclockable, making them even less desirable. Waiting would be good.
