SDGHSFD OMG sooo........pisssed......offfffff...... UPDATE

Well, continued from this thread.

Today I was supposed to be my first paycheck (six weeks ago I started) since I started working at Computer Support at my undisclosed job.

WRONG! I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER TWO WEEKS BECAUSE THIS TIME THE EXCUSE WAS THE PAYROLL SYSTEM WAS BACKED UP AND I WASN'T IN THE PAYROLL SYSTEM.

OMG, I'm gonna kill someone. :| :|

Last week, I talked to my human resource rep again and she showed me that I was in the system and payroll was going to process me for this payday.

This time, there is some new "system" for paying people and I wasn't in. OKAY, NOW I WAIT TWO MONTHS TO GET PAID! YIPPE!! :|

I called her when I found out I wasn't getting paid and it's out of "her" hands she said. I asked for an override, but they would charge the department 50.00 dollars to do it, and she said her boss won't do it. What kind of BULLSH!T is this?!

I also asked her this:
Me:"So that means I'm getting a sh!tload of taxes taken out on this paycheck?"
Her:*pauses for a couple seconds*
Her:*sighs*
Her:"Yes Daniel, sorry I can't do anything."

I tell her I'll see her Monday and this complete and utter BS. This is rediculous. I was just in my stats class and my friend told me there was a law that prevents this and by law I should get paid within two weeks. Is there anything I can do? My bosses boss won't pay the fiddy dollars to get the override to get paid, plus I get more taxes out now.

OMG STUPID HALLOWEEN :disgust:

Well, here's how it is:

Just got off the phone with payroll and they told me that I'm in the system, but none of my timesheets we turned in.

I just talked to my HR rep and she told me that they were....go figure. So....I'm SOL or someone is fibbing.

EDIT 2:

Just got a call from my HR rep....ugh

Well, my bosses boss agreed to pay the 50 dollars to get my check.
I asked her what the total was.....which was wayyyyy off what I'm supposed to make. My main boss told me what my hourly wage is and what we agreed on this first day. Now in my file it is 50 cents lower than what we agreed on. Ugh.........more problems.....🙁

Walk into HR and say "This is getting to the point where it's worth me talking to a lawyer" and let whoever you're dealing with sort it out from there.

Would it be worth the legal fees? I bet the legal fees would be more than my paycheck. 😛

It's called bluffing.

It's time they cut you a check manually. Explain that you have living expenses and have operated in good faith but now need something to be done without delay. Someone will step up and get your money for you.

You could take the bluffing a step further and say "Since you can't sort this mess out for ME, maybe you can sort it out for my brother, the Attorney General"

Hrmmm, I think I'm gonna go talk to the President about this Monday...

Have a nice reasonable conversation with the highest ranking person you can find.

Failing this, fire solves a multitude of problems.

Well obviously my HR rep doesn't want to do anything about this which really ticks me off, I have always been nice to her and it's like she doesn't care. That's what REALLY gets to me.

Go to HR and talk to a supervisor, and her supervisor, and her supervisor, until you find someone who knows what they're doing.

That's a load of cr@p!

How about "Since you can't sort this mess out for ME, maybe you can sort it out for my brother, Johnnie Cochran."

Might not work for you. I don't know.

if i were you i would talk to u boss today and tell them you are about to get evicted and your utilities cut because you needed this check to pay them. that you need a cash advance.

Do some research during the weekend and find saw weird codes, law codes. Then let a friend call your company, pretending to be a lawyer, and even if he just reads all those codes to the HR, they will be scared to fvck and pay you.
