I have a new web site. Any info oregarding getting on the first pages of the search engines is appreciated. I am probably going to hire the service out rather than spend the time & money learning to do it myself. I have had a few suggestions from other forums, the most mentioned is www.internetadvisorygroup.com any info is greatful.
 
Welcome to AnandTech! There are a whole set of forums here, each devoted to different areas. It's important to read the forum descriptions to see where you should post.

General Hardware is obviously not the place to ask about website page rankings. There isn't a specific Hosting forum here so the best place to ask is probably in Off-Topic.

For hosting-specifc forums, WebHostingTalk.com is a source of information.
 
I'd like to second Dave's post, and add one more thing: most companies that offer "Search Engine Optimization" are nothing more than fronts for flat-out unethical manipulation. An honest site can't be "optimized," it will grow on its own. The rest use link-farms and other techniques that artifically and unfairly boost rankings.
