This is a pretty good deal that Dell's been running recently! However, I think going with the SD400 is a better deal; comes to $289.20 shipped with 20% off and $30 off $300 coupon codes. For $40 more than the SD300 listed above you get USB 2.0 transfer from the camera, zoom while taking movies (though digital, not optical, unfortunately), and 1.1 more megapixels.

yeah im sure someone will tell you to take the coupon codes off. just tell people to go to xpbargains, slickdeals, or other coupon sites.

Those coupon codes are fre public coupon codes published by dell... meant for anyone, hence legal to use in these threads Helical.

However, technically he should just post a link to the stores online website with the coupon published where that link goes. So long as it is the actual retailers site.

This is not meant to be a thread-crap, but you can get a Nikon Coolpix 7900 7MP digicam new for around $325 shipped at many reputable online vendors.
 
Man I wish the SD400 wasn't so far backordered. They're currently estimating mine will ship in just over two months. 😱
 
Wyck, I ordered a 1GB Sandisk Extreme II SD card from Dell late last month and it wasn't supposed to ship until August... but it was on my steps when I got back from a trip Tuesday night. Hopefully they'll get the SD400's in sooner than expected.
 
add a ip3000 and you eligible for a $70 MIR, don't know if you have to buy them from the same retailer. newegg has ip3000's for $65-$70MIR, so a free printer and $5 in your pocket.
 
Yea and it comes out to $259 - the $30 off coupon is dead. And unfortunately Dell has to charge tax.....somewhat of a deal killer.

I picked one of these up, Anand's review of it convinced me. Also got a ip3000 from Newegg so I'm eligible for the $70 MIR. Along with the printer I got a 1gb Ridata SD card (comparable to the San Disk Ultra II series) for $61 After $10 rebate. Can't wait for the new camera 🙂 )
