SD vs. MMC which one to get?

That's dated Feb 2002.... $90 for a 64MB SD card? $80 for a MMC version?

You can get a 1GB SD card for $53 today. $28 for 512MB
For the MMC, 1GB is $64. 512MB costs $34

In conclusion, SD cards are not only better, they are also cheaper. They are the most common type of flash and are more widely available than MMC.

Ok, now I have another question. How can I tell what is the limit in size of SD card that my digicam will support? Meaning how big should I get? Do cameras set a limit for this amount of memory.

Thanks,

I think that CF cards would be the most common type. CF has been around longer and are used in a lot of things.

CF cards are used to store bootroms for routers and such as well as for digital cameras, USB portable storage, MP3 players. CF is used for PocketPC's. Hell the phone system we use at work uses a CF card for firmware and such.
