I'm looking to get a new digicam, and the models i'm looking at use SD Memory, so I'm also shopping for memory. After looking around a bit, it seems that prices vary quite a bit, as do posted speeds. Some post speeds as x (as in, 60x or 80x) while some post in mb/s, and others just say "Fast!" Are any of these reliable? Should I just go by brand name? Does any of this matter for a fairly basic digital camera? I'm willing to spend an extra $10 to get shorter delays between pictures, but is this really memory dependant? It is very difficult to tell what given information is reliable, and how relevent it is. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd also be interested in how SD Memory compares with CompactFlash, and if this should have any bearing on what kind of camera i get.
