Wanted to get some recommendations for a good SD/Media reader that can be installed on a 5.25" slot. Feedback appreciated!

AFT PRO-57U.

This is what I settled on and I suggest you look into.
Fairly pricey, but good reviews and it operates at high speeds.

Looks good, but its a bit expensive, even for USB 3. May have to wait for a better deal on this model to come along.

Why did you settle on that?

Did you look into Rosewill RDCR-11003: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820223119&Tpk=Rosewill RDCR-11003

I settled on it for three reasons.
The first was that it was 5.25", which there are significantly less of than 3.5".
(After my rebuild, I had an empty 5.25" slot with no filler panel).
The reviews were much higher on this model than anything else.
I also wanted to have USB 3.0 on the front of my older case with my newer MB.
The ports worked out perfectly for me.
While this fit my needs well, it may not fit yours.

When it finally went on sale, (Newegg 20%) off coupon, I finally purchased it.
