Actually went ahead and bit on a new 64GB PRO+ for $30 directly from Samsung today with free ship. Already have the standard PRO but thought give this a try now.

Anything truly push you to that Sandisk card? You already had the link for the Best Buy sale on the Samsung. Sure they both have the 90MB/s read, but the Samsung also has the 90MB/s write, where looks like the Sandisk is limited at 40MB/s.

I think the Best Buy stats on the card were wrong.

Bottom line. I went to Sandisk's web site and they said exactly which model did what. So I could go up each successive model and see what the price jump was. So to an extent, I probably rewarded Sandisk for not having a web site that was horse shit.

Sandisk appears to have three different microSD card models.

Extreme - Medium speed. 40MB/sec writes.

Extreme Plus - Slightly faster. 50MB/sec writes.

Extreme Pro - Fastest. 90MB/sec writes.

As long as you got a Extreme Pro then you should be enjoying decent write speeds.

Extreme is one of three lines they have available.

I went with the base extreme model. Plus and Pro prices were much higher.

If that's the case, you should have purchased the Samsung Pro+ microSD card that you linked to earlier. It's a lot faster than the base Extreme card as it's equivalent to the Extreme Pro model. And it would have been cheaper at $30 only.
