I have recently purchased a nice ultra-portable camera that I plan to take everywhere with me. Because I plan on taking a lot of shots, I?m in the market to buy a larger capacity SD card (>1gig). I?ve done a little research and this task seems to be much more complicated than I had first anticipated. There are so many choices available from 50X, 60X speeds to Ultrafast, etc?etc. I think these numbers have to do with how fast you can write/read off these cards but does this attribute really matter for a consumer level digital camera? I read somewhere that the limiting factor for write speed in a digicam has more to do with its hardware controller, rather than the actually speed of the SD card. Any enlightment someone can give me on the issue would be greatly appreciated. TIA
