So, I stumbled upon that on SD... and it seemed like a heck of a deal, but I wasn't really sure if it was just hyped with over-inflated MSRP so that they could cut it down, or a real steal.

On Amazon, the headphones appear to be consistently priced between $250-300, and the audio recorder that seems to vary between $200-300.

I immediately pounced, thinking I could just turn around and sell these two and make a decent buck. Think my plan is flawed, or should I be able to net $200-300 from this? I hope so! That's the plan lol

I'm not sure if I'd actually want to open the headphones and give them a try - they don't seem to be rated as some highly-awesome monitor headphones, so while I may be able to end up with them at about the price of free, I think I'd rather hang onto my Sennheiser HD280 Pro's that I've had for a while now. I suspect the M70x is better, but I think I'd rather a profit right now and wait until some time far out until I'm ready to invest in a super high-quality set of cans.

Thoughts?

I got the M70x and the ATH-A900X on the same day for the same price sometime last year. I ended up returning the M70x. I don't recall why exactly in great detail. But I remember preferring the sound signature and sound stage of the ATH-A900x far more.
