SD and CF card recommendations for iPaq and Canon A75

Basically I just want to ask whether it makes any difference which particular flash card I'm going to pick. I'll be shopping at newegg.com so whatever they have is an option.

About the SD card for the iPaq - I heard of some issues with slow cards and the iPaq - can anyone give me more info, or at least recommend a card which is definitely going to work (as in you have it and it works 😉 ).

About the CF card, how much does card speed matter with the Canon A75. There is a Lexar 12x 256MB card for $45, is it a good match for the A75? Will there be a noticable difference (slow-down) if I go with the 4x Lexar they have for $37?

Thanks in advance!

I recommend the Panasonic 256MB SD cards... at 10MB/s it's the fastest card on the market.

I'd go for the 12x for the CF, but nothing faster than that because it won't be utilized anyway. 4x might be a little on the slow side for a 4MP cam though!

So that's all? I go with the Lexar 12x CF card and a Panasonic SD card?

What other options are there for the SD? I'm asking since Panasonic are the most expensive, and the card will be used only for MP3 storage on the iPaq which I presume doesn't require the fastest card out there?
