Having installed a ninja, thought I'd try out the fan that came with it.
I'm using a fan controller, and it's running at about 800-900 rpm. To me, it's as good as silent. By which I mean, it's inaudible. Given that a fair few others have probably got experience with this fan, I thought I'd ask for their input.
At 12v(probably actually about 11) it is pretty 'noisy', it equates to about 1300rpm I think at full speed, I'll have to check that later, but by noisy, I mean, compared to silence. At full speed it is easily quiter than the Akasa Amber 120 I was using at anything above 1200rpm.
I suppose for those that dismiss the fan as a freebie, try it out undervolted, to me at least, it's really quiet, and as the Ninja doesn't need much airflow, it's ideal.
