Scythe Ninja Plus - 6 Heatpipe CPU Cooler $33.95 www.jab-tech.com

Just saying how much I love jab-tech. They notified me of everything. Order received, order processing, order shipping, order shipped, "hey it looks like your order got delivered" e-mails.

ah man, and I just ordered the Arctic freezer pro 64, lol...this would've been beast too for a lil more.

BTW, nice name OP =)

Fan
Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm
Noise Level: 23.5dBA
Air Flow: 46.5CFM
Speed: 1,200rpm

I'm not sure if those are the best of stats. 46.5 CFM seems a little low don't you think?

That is a bit low, but so is the noise level. Since the Ninja can function as a fanless heatsink, it doesn't need a high-powered fan to get the best results. I read a review that showed that a 100+cfm only reduced the temps by 1-2 degrees when compared to a 40-50cfm fan.

Overclockers.com has a review on this thing. It's a monster and comparable to the best Thermalright HS. Cheaper too.

Thanks OP,

I am thinking about buying a Pentium D. 😱

This should be just what i need to keep it cool. 😎

I bought the original version without the fan from jab-tech last month. It's one of the best performing heatsinks available right now IMO.

Because of the wide fin spacing, you don't need very much airflow to get everything out of this heatsink. Also makes it a great candidate for passive cooling.

Kept my Opteron 165 at 22C idle and 38C dual-Prime load at 2.6ghz last month when ambient temps were low. That's with an undervolted 120mm Yate Loon strapped to it probably blowing <35cfm.

takes my kid's 3000 winnie to 2.5 at 1.6v and never gets over 48c with quiet fans and room at 78F...

but the mounting bracket for the back of the board sux... the foam doesn't keep the ic legs from piercing it and shorting to the metal... cut the screws for your stock baseplate and use it if u can... and the thing can hack the hell out of your fingers if u r not careful...

good price for a killer hsf...
