I have an Antec P150 and a Core i5-750.

Cost difference between the two units is negligible. These are available to me for less than $40 so unless you find something significantly cheaper and better, please refrain from recommending other units.

I'm not interested in ultimate cooling capability as I will OC only a small amount, or not at all. I do care about reliability, ease of installation, robustness of retention mechanism, foolproof-ness, low noise, and physical compatibility.

Any advice?
 
I have been worried about the Scythe heatsinks as of late. I have been hearing of issues with an uneven/badly machined base which causes high temps. Just a fyi, you might want to consider a different brand. Their fans are absolutely great though.
 
I've always liked the Scythe Ninja for how easy it is to make it super quiet. The latest one increased the number of heatpipes, thus also increasing performance.
