Scythe has showcased a VGA cooler and it was about time they entered the VGA market, since their CPU coolers are already very popular.

The cooler, branded Musashi, consists of two slim coolers with a 120mm fan placed on a slim aluminum heatsink, which covers the entire PCB. The new Musashi is compatible with both HD 3870 and 3850 series, as well as with Nvidia´s G80 and G92 graphic cards. We have seen it mounted on ATI´s HD 3870 and HD 3850 cards and, according to Scythe, it is actually doing much better than the reference cooler.

The mounting system consists of a plate with pre-drilled holes, and the cooler will be bundled with heatsinks that should be compatible with the cards. This new VGA cooler should be available soon.

looks like it could be decent...

a downside is it looks like the cooler is designed for active cooling and thus probably isn't cut out for being used passively

but I like how it seems to be designed to fit standard sized fans, two 120mm fans to be exact - although those stock fans appear to be half height, probably to keep the cooler from taking up more than two slots, but I'd assume it would be fairly easy to swap them out with two larger fans (quieter and/or better performing) if the space isn't a concern.
