So... apparently, some "black iPhone 5" do get scuffed, and when they get scuffed, the silver-gray look of aluminum underneath is "exposed". And according to many first-day owners, that's not how the phone is "supposed to be".
Last I heard, some first-day iPhone owners (detail: mostly US owners) are organizing a class action lawsuit... much like with "antennaegate". Why? Because it's a world-class problem!
And some others have proclaimed that will switch to Android because Android phones don't get "exposed".
Your thoughts?
Edit by Mod PM:
I'm still not seeing any evidence of a class action lawsuit, and no links to real media articles - just to one dubious thread at Macrumors, and while one CNet blogger has picked it up, I don't see that the larger media is tracking this.
Besides, I truly don't see the point of this. No phone is scratch proof. If there's truly a material defect and there's truly a lawsuit, then I'll let this thread stand, but in the meantime I say that let the phone that is scratchproof cast the first stone. I'm locking.
And Runawayprisoner this is the second time that I've asked you for links on this (the other time was in another thread). If you are going to post up something controversial, I would ask you to please back it up with links. Otherwise it just looks like you are trolling.
