SCSI2 external case???

Hi, I have few questions here....

I using a Dell Latitude C600 laptop... I had a Ultra SCSI-2 connector on my docking station.

SCSI Controller
===========
Chip set Adaptec AIC 7860B
Data bus width 8-bit SCSI bus;
32-bit PCI host-bus interface
Data transfer rate 20 MB/sec
IRQ IRQ10

I want to have a external case which can hold a HD, CDR-W, and a DVD-rom. I decided to have a 4-bay external case. This means I will be connecting the external case to this docking station. And, I think this docking station only have USB 1.1.

Questons:
=======
1) Which interface will be faster to use for my laptop? SCSI or USB?
2) What will be the transfer speed of HD, CDRW, and DVD-rom would be, comparing to USB?
3) Where can I find the cheaper external case?
4) Is the SCSI2 having any problem with windows xp?

I need to know these before I choose a external case for my laptop. Please feel free to discuss this.

Thank you.
