scsi "set limits" command

ok scsi gurus,

here's my dilemma: i'm trying to use a data shredder program called CBL Data Shredder. i burned an ISO disc so i can use the program on bootup. however, with my SCSI drives attached the program starts but hangs. if i unattach my SCSI drives, the program goes through w/o a hitch.

in the Information pdf file that came with the program, there is note that if the SCSI drive(s) have a SET LIMITS command on them then i should try to use a utility to unSET LIMITS. this will allow me to use the program on my SCSI drives.

so... does anyone have anymore info on SET LIMITS command or what utility i can use to unSET LIMITS?
