SCSI Problems HELP

I just bought a second SCSI drive for my controller -- U160. Anyway, I thought SCSI was just plug it in and go. I configured the new drive to autostart using the jumpers. However, the controller doesn't recognize the drive.

So I thought maybe the first one was giving it problems. I unplug the power cable from the first drive and now the SCSI controller sees the second drive just fine. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Hoober

Change the SCSI ID on the new drive. Most drives are set to ID 0 by default (just like most IDE drives are set to Master).

Yes, it's just like setting master/slave on an IDE drive except you have more choices.
