Here's what i have.

SCSI Card (ID set at 0)
CD (ID 1)
CDR (ID 3)
DVD (ID 5)
all internal....

and then the external zip (id 6) i'm adding.

How should termination go? At the extremes of the ID range... or the ends of the physical scsi chain?

Thanks

Card should generally be 7.

The other devices can be whatever you like.

Most decent cards let you tell it which ID is the hard disk to boot from. If not, set it to 0.

The termination should be at the end of the physical scsi chain, ie Card on one end and the device on the other end has termination.

I agree with everyone else as I am just installing a scsi card and scsi drives. The adapter card should always be default at id 7 and your boot drive or first scsi device should be scsi id 0. The first device should be at the end of the chain or cable right next to the terminator on lvd 68pin cables. I hope this helps.
