i recently bought a Quantum Atlas 10K II Ultra/160 9.2GB (QM309200TY-LW) and a Tekram Ultra/160 Controller (DC-390U3W). i need to put my present HD, a Seagate Cheetah U2W 9.1GB (ST39102LW), on the same chain as the Quantum Atlas to get some data off of it and onto the Quantum. how do i setup the jumpers and whatnot to do this? the Seagate Cheetah is presently the only drive on my U2W chain and so didn't require any jumpers since it's LUN 0 as the boot drive.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Peace,

Doug

thanks a lot AC! it turns out my problem was that i was skipping the female head after the cheetah on the scsi cable because i couldn't twist the cable so that the next head would connect to the atlas. i had to flip each HD upside down in the case so that i could connect consecutive heads. can you tell me why skipping a head is problematic? is there a way around this problem?

Peace,

Doug
