SCSI drives not detected

child of wonder

Diamond Member
I have a trio of Fujitsu MAT3073NP 73GB u320 68 pin 10k RPM SCSI drives I recently purchased off eBay and am attempting to use them via a Mylex Acceleraid 170 PCI SCSI card. However, the card can't seem to detect the drives. I have a 4 port cable connecting the three drives plus a terminator on the 4th port.

I had 3 Seagate 18GB 15k RPM drives installed before (2 were 80 pin with 68 pin adapters and 1 was a 68 pin) and they worked great.

Is there a problem since my SCSI card is u160 and the drives are u320? Is there something I'm missing? I'm still fairly new to the world of SCSI.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
