What controller cards are available for the drive below?

I am looking for a standard PCI slot controller to work with this drive. Currently I have a wd2940, but I'm not sure it will work with this drive.

Fujitsu 147GB 10K SCSI HARDDRIVE ULTRA320 147 GB 80 PIN

Not sure what that controller card is exactly, but it sounds like it may be too slow at 40MB/s. For a standard PCI slot, you could use an Ultra320 or Ultra160 controller, but given that standard PCI is 133 on paper and under 100 in real life, an Ultra2Wide (U2W) will do (plus the drive won't consistently break 100 anyways). I have some U2W cards lying around if you'd like. Two LSI 8951Us and an LSI 8953U. Let me know if you'd like to buy one. Don't forget you'll need a cable and terminator.

That card will work with that drive but probably won't give you the full performance of which the drive is capable. A U80 or U160 card would be better. A plethora of U80 and u160 cards are usually available on eBay as well as LVD rated adapters, cables and terminators. If you plan to add another drive in the future, get a U160 card. The LSI U160 is among the least expensive cards you can buy new except for special deals and is a high performer in the category. I'll probably be getting out of SCSI shortly as all my drives are over 6 years old and it's just a matter of time before they toss up their hands... At that time, I'll have an LSI U160 PCI card LVD rated 80 to 68-pin adapter, cable and terminator for sale. Perhaps I could accelerate the process if you're in a hurry... ;) Man prices have really shot up on LSI U160 cards - cheapest I found with froogle was around $80. Maybe I should hold onto it as it's now an appreciating asset! :D
