SCSI card for tape backup recommendation

I migrated a tape drive from our old server to a new server.

The new server has an Adapted SCSI Raid card with the 68pin connections that currently connect to two drives in a RAID configuration.
The problem with the tape drive is that it has a 50pin connection. I was going to add a seperate SCSI card with a 50pin connection for just the tape drive. I was wondering if something like the LSI 20860 (Single channel HBA) would be sufficient for this? Any other suggestions?

Thanks

PS. the tape drive is less than 6 months old so replacing the drive it is not an option.

And neither of those will interfere with the existing Adapted SCSI RAID card? Is their anything special I need to do on those cards to avoid conflicting with the other card. The guy who built the server said to get a SCSI card that DOES NOT have onboard BIOS so that it won't bump heads with the RAID card...does that make sense?

Sorry for the dumb questions...SCSI HBA is not one of my strengths.

The bios comes into play when you have a HD attached, if the card doesn't find a hd then it won't load the scsi bios.
You could always get a 20g 68pin tape drive an put that on the raid card. cost about $209

. I would have thought that just about any high-end SCSI card would have a stub for legacy devices that wouldn't slow down the main channels at all. Are you sure yours lacks that?
. http://www.compgeeks.com just got in a couple of LSI SCSI cards in that would do fine for your tape drive. Not bad prices for full retail kits (actually you probably need Ultra SCSI (20 MB/sec narrow sync so that $50.+ one is way too much). Any number of similar available on eBay - I pretty much stole mine on eBay :D - that's where you should probably look too (after checking in the For Sale/Trade section here, of course).
