I think i have to get a new SCSI card.. but i dunno what to get.. because this card has 25 pins external and I can't seem to find one out there.. Anyhelp on getting this scanner works would be appreciated..

I had a 2940 using it with my old scanner. I used it for several months till my scsi card gave out for some reason. Cheaper just to buy a decent usb scanner in the long run. Though the hp4c is a killer scanner for what you can pick them up for usually >$30

Adaptec charge a fortune for those low end SCSI cards. Use a Tekram 315 or 310U, LSI 20860, or
any noname card with an LSI 810 chip on. Should be no more than $25.

I received my SCSI card today and it works beautifully.... I like it how they give you direct access to the scanner from your "My Computer" .. so i dont' have to use the HP software at all.. that's awesome..and quick too..Again .. thanks guys
