SCSI Adapter - Need Help Picking One

I have an IBM Ultrastar 37GB, UW160, 10,000 RPM drive for a new system I'm building. I'm new to SCSI so I came here for some help. I don't want to use RAID, I can't afford another one of these drives. The only device I want to connect is this hdd. What is the best adapter to use? So far the Adaptec 19160 looks like the best choice. Any other opinions on options?

If cost is somewhat of an issue you may think about getting an Adaptec 2940U2W, since you say, for now at least, only 1 drive will be used.....seen these going for like 75.00 in the ForSale forum....you wouldn't be taking a performance hit with this card and 1 drive. Otherwise if you see yourself adding drives down the road, then I have to say your choice for the Adaptec 19160 is a good choice.
By the way, I am currently using a 2940U2W card and a IBM 10K 160 drive in my system and works great.

I would suggest a 29160N. The bad thing about the 19160 is thats its a windows only SCSI Controller. Which means if you ever do anything with another OS besides windows its pretty much useless. If your not then i would go for it. If you have an Ultra160 drive you may as well get all the performance out of it you can.

There are drivers out there for the 19160 for just about any OS. Adaptec just doesn't provide them.
