Scrolling Problems with Logitech Mouse on OS X

I have the Logitech Performance MX mouse on my Mac Mini and the Anywhere Mouse on my Macbook air. I've installed the official driver and SW for each.

The problem I get is that scrolling isn't smooth, but rather it's inertial, a bit like on iOS when scrolling.

For example, in an image viewer app, I use the scrollwheel to zoom in, the magnification might go something like this: 30% -> 100% where it slows down when it gets close to 100%, like a quick car acceleration, then a slow deceleration near 100%.

Another thing that happens is that sometimes it zooms out again, like 30% -> 100% -> 70%.

Does anyone have these problems too? Know of any fixes?

Yea, uninstall Logitech's software. It's crap. I don't use it in Windows either.

It's actually only crap when it comes to mice. It completely screws up the tracking and scrolling speeds, as well as the button assignments. I have a Logitech k810 BT keyboard, and a t650 trackpad on my work computer, and the software is actually great for those. But I don't use a mouse with that system anymore.
