Scroll wheel problem with G9

The scroll wheel on my G9 doesn't always pick up every up or down scroll, sometimes missing several "clicky" rotations altogether. Anyone else have this issue or is mine defective? It's not a total game breaker but it is an annoyance that I wouldn't expect in a $90 cdn mouse. I think it happens more frequently when I press lightly on the wheel, which is most of the time.

I haven't noticed that, but I do see the cursor race across to the edge of the screen when I minimize windows. Not to thrilled with the G9 so far, especially since it went on a bigger sale after I bought mine.

Jeez, was playing teeworlds where you change weapons with the scroll wheel, and it was making it somewhat unplayable. I'm gonna continue to try and live with it but I might have to RMA or something in the future.

I've had two G5s (one old, one new) and both have had minor issues with the scroll wheel. Talk to Logitech and they'll likely send you a replacement.

Wow, they're mailing me a new one and don't even want the old one back. Two g9's, not too shabby. Apparently logitech does this a lot with their products, thats the best RMA ever.

Seriously. I wore out the teflon feet on a G5 and they sent me a new one.

Also, it hasn't been talked about much recently, but MS has a very similar RMA policy (unless the product has been discontinued).

My suggestion is to use the latest SetPoint drivers after you remove the old drivers and clean them (DriverCleaner.net) from your Windows installation. FYI, SetPoint 4.0 and 5.0 install into separate directories so they can coexist and cause problems for each other.

They sent me a brand new G9 with air shipping. Logitech RMA is ftw. I've read other positive experiences through googling about it too.

A++ seller would do business again.
