Scroll wheel disabled after sleep

I'm using Vista64 and a Razer Boomslang CE (though I'm guessing this issue may not be mouse specific), after resuming from sleep mode I seem to lose the scroll wheel functionality. Nothing else on the mouse seems to be affected, the side buttons as well as the scroll button itself all seem to work fine but I just lose the ability to scroll up and down using the wheel. Any ideas?

Assume it is a USB mouse? If so, just pull it out. After the ding-dong - plug it back in and after the dong ding it should be OK. It probasbly just didn't wake up fully.

That worked. Today is the first time it's done it since the original post, seems to be a random but frequent thing.
