scroll mouse issue

i had gotten a scroll mouse, and just plugged it in and the scroll feature worked from day one i didnt hafta set up any progs, and recently i had a strange crash, where i powered up another system on the same power strip as my main sys, and the main just dropped out like i pulled the plug, now the scroll doesnt work??? any body have any ideas?

have you tried pulling out and putting back in the ps/2 connection? maybe you blew a fuse or something. Try a different mouse and see if it works. If the otehr mouse works, your mouse got burned or something

i tried pullin it out and pluggin it back in and also tried reinstalling the drivers, but its a mutt freebie mouse, so no sure of manufact, but when i plugged it back in it acted real wack for a bit, then i switched the kvm and it came back ok, but i'm gonna try buyin a new mouse, thanx any ways, if any one else finds a better suggestion, lemme know
