Any way to rebind, change or disable the scroll lock key. I have a back light keyboard and I'd like to keep the light on but its on the Scroll Lock key. This is a major pain in the ass when I use excel.
The keyboard is a CMStorm I don't believe it has any software to reassign keys. I've tried the on screen windows 10 keyboard but that just shuts the light off. Any suggestions or am I out of luck?

So, you don't want the LED to show? Use black tape / black nail polish to cover it.
That is easiest way.

No to have the keys back light work scroll lock needs to be pressed, which screws up navigation in excel. I'd like to have the keyboards back light on and still be able to use the arrow keys to navigate excel.

This video shows a hardware hack that enables the backlit feature without using the Scroll Lock key.

Looks to me like this keyboard is not designed for real work. Sad.

Thanks but I'm not going this route. I did find a registry edit that could change the keys function but its too complicated and when I've done stuff like that in the past it causes unexpected problems.
Honestly for a cheap keyboard & mouse combo its not bad. They keys feel nice, it has a slight click and the back light isn't stupid bright. I don't use the mouse now but I did for a few weeks, its not great but its good enough. I kept it as a backup mouse.

download keytweak, it's easy to use, works on W10 too, it edits the registry for you.

D'oh!
I wasn't even in the same ballpark. Sorry.
Unfortunately, it seems only a hardware hack can 'fix' this as Corkyg has shown.
