SCRK.com LOP.com removal procedure?

I find now that everytime I open up Internet Explorer it redirects my pages to scrk.com/lop.com home page and a banner page along with 2-3 popups appear. I would like to know how to get rid of this. I tried removing all instances in the registry but that didn't work. Please let me know if you know how to remove this cr@p. Thanks.

Is LOP.com set as your starting page in IE?

Well yes. I change the start up page to something else. The next time I open up IE it defaults back to lop.com. Also there is an annoying banner that pops up at the bottom of the screen for lop.com. I deleted all references to scrk.com and lop.com and on reboot everything comes back.

Download, update and run Spybot - Search & Destroy. Have it "check for problems," then "fix selected problems."
