Screwy internal clock

Just starting today, my Windows clock started randomly throwing itself off every once in a while. It's happened about six times today. It'll throw itself forward or backward by anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes. I opened the time display and say the second hand freeze up for a little bit, and then start again. Any ideas?
 
please search the forums b4 posting .....it'll allow for people who's helping to sort through to those who have new problems .. 🙂

well, pch and some other dude (i think jeff..?) has good suggestions in there...

and i don't think it's ur internal clock problem...but go ahead and try those suggestions and see what happens...hope it works out...and search support.microsoft.com's knowledge base...i'm sure they'll have something in there...
