don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but sometimes my asus probe just kinda goes haywire. like cpu temp jumps to 80c with mobo temp at 28c. or case fan or cpu fan rpm drops to 0 and cpu immedately jumps to 80c again even tho i can see the fan working?
i tried another moo monitor and comparing the 2 readings for awhile but the problem hasn't resurfaced, the temps were pretty much the same.
i assume mobo manager would read the same thing as asus probe anyway, right?
is it worth worrying about? can the cpu really jump that high in miliseconds?
i ran prime95 for hours with no problem and then ran 3dmark and when it was dne the asus was showing ridiculous temps but everything seemed fine.

What motherboard and CPU are you running?

My Asus Probe was telling me things like that, as well as telling me that my 12v was reading at 11.176 where the BIOS would tell me otherwise, but an update has now fixed that. Try comparing the values to what your BIOS reads, they are usually more reliable
