Screws that are compatible with cages w/rubber stoppers?

I have an antec SLK3700 computer case with the rubber stoppers ont the drive cage to dampen sound, and I've noticed how difficult and nearly impossible to screw in the drives. I was wondering, are there a particular screw set you need in order to screw into these cages? The standard screws I have don't fit at all, I have to push really hard for it to even touch the hole in the HDD.

The case comes wih special shouldered screws for mounting the HDDs.
