anyone know of a case with screwless side pannels (similar to dell's kind of side pannels) where you just pull a spring loaded thing and the pannel comes off

Here a pick of it to show what I mean:

This case has tabs in the rear that you depress to release the side panel and slide it rearward an inch or so before pulling it off. The tabs can be seen somewhat in the picture on the page I linked to.
Btw, I have that case.

Most Antecs have latches and you can use screws too if you need - the screws are usually put in there for shipping purposes. My Silverstone Berserker (and most Silverstones) has latches (slide type) and screws on BOTH sides. Most Aspire cases have latches. Some Enermax too - in fact, there are tons of cases with latches... (You been holing up in a cave for the last few years or so, SB? ;) ).

.... if a thumb screw or latch is too much work for you... then why do you open up your PC in the 1st place

The Antec cases are nice, has a latch like some car doors. And the side fan in the window snaps in so you can just unsnap the fan from the window instead of having to unplug it when you remove the side.

Antec P160 has a screwless system for the main side panel and thumbscrews for the other panel.
