Can anyone help me with this problem:
I've got a FIC KA-6100 mobo with an intergrated Yamaha OPL3-SAx sound chip
The sound suddenly dies on me halfway though working on it
CD music plays fine and Tib Sun still recognises there is sound but Quake 2 winamp and windows all refuse to recognise the sound chip(Quake thinks the sound is being used by another program). Tried doing a fresh install of windows and resetting the bios in case of IRQ conflicts to no avail.
anyone got any suggestion???
