Screwed by Best Western & Hotels.com

Just wanted to ask for some opinions on what I should do.

We stayed at a Best Western 2 months ago, booked through hotels.com for 2 rooms.

Now, everything was going smooth until my credit card statement came. First I saw the hotels.com charge for 2 rooms, which is correct, and then they refund me one room's rate. I didn't bother to look at the refund until I paid my credit card bill - and then found out the room was cancelled after my stay with no reason specified by hotels.com. I thought, ok if you guys wanna screw yourselves over, i'll let you do it.
Now 2 months & 2 billing cycles later, Best Western is charging me the full rate for the 2nd room. Somehow, I don't feel this is right - if they want to charge me, it should really be the rate I paid at hotels.com and not their full published rate?

What do you think?

Yup ... assuming you have tried calling the hotel & trying to straighten it out directly with them first with no success, this is what chargebacks are for.
