screw walmart's price matching policy

went down to walmart today to pick up Call of Duty. The only copy they had left was on their top shelf. i did not feal like getting my buddy to give me a boost, so i got one of the employees to get a ladder and grab it, took em about 10 minutes to find a ladder. anyway, got it up there and it rings up as 50 bucks. so i say, hey, i would like to pricematch this to one of your competitors. they say, hold on let me get my manager. so, another 10 minutes. manager comes. they say, its got to be a local competitor. so i tell them, your competitor is closer than you think, i then hand them the print out from their webpage that has the game listed for 40. they then say that they dont pricematch to themselves. WTF, so i proceed to check out my heavy whiping cream in the electronics deparments cash register, and leave the game

I'll never go to the one in my town. 50 registers, and they only ever operate 5 of them.

To Target I go!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think this is only a WalMart issue. Many stores have rows of registers and then like you said only about five people operating them while long lines snake from behind them. Why the hell get all of those registers if you aren't going to use them. It's obviously not for customer convenience because the busiest time of year is the Christmas season and they still aren't all being used.

We were there yesterday. They had a good 15 registers open.
