As most of you know, I run a car audio shop. I spent the whole day dealing with issues on a car that were not our fault. I probably used 300 minutes on my cell phone and I will probably find some grey hairs tomorrow.

Today sucked, its time for :beer:

We run a car audio shop too, and we put up with lots of BS. Some guy was bitchin at us because he couldn't take the face of his stereo. Well, I went out there, pressed the release button, pulled the face off, and voila, the face came off!!! Did the guy expect the face to just magically fall in his hands?

We removed the factory stereo from some lady's vehicle, and put a brand new Pioneer cd player. Well, she came back, and was pissed, because she thought she no longer had AM/FM, just cd player. She called her husband, in front of us, and me and my employees heard what she was saying. She was saying "I don't know what these guys did. They fvcked things up. There is no AM/FM. blah blah blah." My installer went out there, and showed her the stereo had AM/FM. She felt stupid, and apologized. Ugh, idiot. :roll:
 
LOL!! Some great stories. Some people don't need more technology. There's a reason factory radios are so dumbed down!

then maybe you can relate to this. The car's factory alarm was stuck in valet mode. NO ONE knew how to get it out. I ended up just giving the guy a Python alarm so I could be done with the whole thing. I was more pissed than I had ever been.

Wow, honestly, I wouldn't have done anything for that asshole.

I think I have a similar story, which actually happened about 3 weeks ago. Just a little background info first. We have 3 shop locations. I run a location, and at my location, we pretty much do our own thing. The main guy, my uncle, runs the main location.

A guy got his 2 front windows on his Nissan Titan tinted at the main location. He bitched at them, saying the tint was too dark. The legal limit on the front windows in Texas is 35%. He was saying they put 20%. They stripped the tint off his vehicle because he was dissatisfied. Then, he comes to my location at 5 o clock. We close at 6. He was saying that they put mirror tint on his vehicle, which they didn't. I told him we have no tinter at the moment, but he will be back in about 30 minutes ,and that it was 35% that the other shop put on his vehicle. He said "This is ridiculous. I set up an appointment. blah blah. They put mirror tint, blah blah." I told him "No sir, you just walked in. You never set up an appointment. You can go down the the shop on Fredericksburg(the main location) and they will have it tinted for you. My tinter will be here in another 30 minutes." He said, "No, I am not going. I will just wait." I told him "Sir, we close at 6. Its 5:10." He said "I will still wait." At this time, I didn't know that he had a Nissan Titan. But then, he says "I want my red Nissan Titan tinted." Then, I just remembered. Someone at the main location was telling me about this same guy, with a red Titan. They told me the whole situation. So then, I told him. "Just one moment sir." I go get the phone, and put it on speaker phone. I called, and my cousin answered.

The conversation went:
Me: Remember the guy you told me about, the one with the red Nissan Titan.
my cousin: Yeah
Me: What kind of tint did you put on his car?
My cousin: HP 35%
Me: Thank you
*hang up*

He just stared, and started looking at the various shades of the tint, and said "So this is 35%? I told him "Yes sir."

Then he said "Ok, thank you for your time."
And he walked out.

HAHAHAHAHA! 😀 Man I dislike those guys who always try to bullsh!t us! :|

I didnt have to give the guy anything. I got mad because no one knew how to fix the problem. When I get mad, I tend to give things away. The guy was really cool about the whole thing and just wanted his car up and running so he could go to Texas on Friday.

I owned an electronic retail store for 9 years.
