NFS4,

The S8 is just a higher performance A8.That Chrysler is pretty nice looking though.

It'll probably cost around $70k for the 4.2Quattro. And remember, if you get in an accident, most body shops can't repair the all-aluminum chassis, and insurance rates are OUTRAGEOUS...

NFS4, the '91 Chrysler 300 is a two door, not a four door, from what I can tell in that picture.

It's a four door, the door handls for the "suicide" rear doors are in the bottom of the body work near the rear wheel wells.

You can't shake me on cars ;)

It looks nice but I'll still take the Mercedes S-Class over it...

I saw the new A4 in a mag last year and it'll definitely blow the 3-Series and IS out of the water in terms of styling.

okay this is nothign but a flat nosed stretched BUG

if you look at the back end of the A8 and move your eyes forward to the hood, you can see how it resembles a stretched bug :p im not kidding! i totally see it. The back end looks like crap. Reminds me of the Maybach, has no rear end. I hate cars like that.

However, the front is very sexy, i like that slanted and "chisled" front end look on it.

Make em re do the back and id buy 2! :D

& its all alloy - the body, the suspension, the chassis, the drivetrain, etc. Neat aye, now you don't have to worry about those salted roads in winter rusting your car away, or living near the beach & having the salt air rust your car out. So I bet it'll hold its value over time too.

The S-Class is too boring, even the new one. Even the current Audi A8 has been around for a while and is showing age. It's nice to see Audi liven things up ;) The 7-Series is getting a little long in the tooth, although the new ones looks mighty good ;)

No way! The S class looks way too weird for a luxury car. I personally think that new A8 design with the TT-esque styling as begun by the A6 and continuing with the new A4 is quite elegant.

<< It's nothing but an overpriced PC on wheels >>

Pricing from Edmunds:

Audi 4D82GZ Sedan L 4.2 Quattro 4-Dr Auto MSRP: $67,900
Mercedes-Benz S430V Sedan 4-Dr Auto MSRP: $69,700

To people in the market for these cars, a mere $2000 difference is negligible. No wonder the S-Class slams the A8 in sales year after year. :D

The A8 is not a high volume vehicle. And everyone and there grandma has an S-Class. A8's are rarer and more valuable to these eyes ;)

It is also the better car, and I don't see an AWD checkbox on the S-Class option list (although it is to get AWD within 2 years)
