Im at fscking work. The cowboys are playing soon and I have to watch the far away tv from my desk. My family started eating just as I had to leave, I snuck a plate early and shoveled some down, but I should be sitting in a recliner getting drowsy from wine and tryptophan watching the cowboys come one and making fun of my packer-fan-uncle.

But no, im sitting at the fscking helpdesk for those people who are sitting on their computers to get away from the family, and are too stupid to not delete their registry and click on every pop-up in the known realms.


 
Don't worry you're not the only one, Comp Operations sucks when it comes to statutory/bank holidays. The only 2 I get are Christmas and New Years Day.

i mean its not like its a vital service, everyone should call their respective cable companies and tell them they shouldnt provide tech support on holidays

You dont have to. Adelphia Cable screws them for you! Down again yesterday for 4 hours. 5-10 minutes a few times a day is the norm.

so?!??! even if your local cable's infrastructure sucks, its obviously a problem on their end, its not like calling in is going to help jack.
 
BTW Turin, since you have nothing to do. My speeds have been way off today. I usually get ~2.7 Mbps with newsbin, today it is ~1.7. Quit hogging my bandwidth.
 
Heh.. I could call in and give you a bunch of shiet, but I'm on Comcast (which usually sucks ass, but for some reason is working fine today).
