screenshot of Windows Media Player shows black for video

Im trying to take screenshots of a video playing in WMP 10. I pause the video, take a screenshot, paste it into photoshop. Everything looks fine. After I save the file (both jpg and png), the video shows up as black. What can i do to change this?

Just a warning... disabling the hardware acceleration will probably make it use significantly more CPU time.

Obviously that's not the mode you want for regular viewing, but it's fine if you're going to just pause and take screens anyway.

or you can leave acceleration on and do the screenshot by having two instances of the movie open in wmp. do screenshot of the second window.
