Screensaver as desktop?

Is there a program for WinXP similar to the Mac program xBack ?
I am interested in putting Marine Aquarium as my desktop but am not sure how to do this.
I have looked at CoolMon and it does not seem to offer this functionality. Note, I tried to search the forums and got a lot of cool info on modifiying the desktop, but nothing seemed to offer the ability to place an active screensaver as the desktop.

Thank you for any help.

I have that screen saver, it's amazing! I can almost smell the salt :)

I am not sure how you would do that, but did you try taking a screen shot while it was running and then set that as back ground? Or what about going to their website and looking for some screen shots they already have and setting that as background? Sorry low tech but don't know of any programs that will rip screen savers into backgrounds.

Edit: I see you want to have it running on your destop as a desktop. Didn't know you could do that, I'll be looking all over the internet now to figure out how heh

I use OS X and use Flurry as my screen saver but not xBack as the background.

There is dreamscapes but I dont think it will take a screensaver and make it a desktop. Its just has its own animated desktops.

also this but again, it doesn't convert screen savers to a wallpaper, it's just another animated wallpaper.

Kinda odd actually, I can't find anything. I'm surprised that something like this has come out for mac before winblows. Then again, OS X has allowed for alot of things to pop out onto the mac front that hasnt been out for windows. This screen saver/desktop thing may be allowable due to Quartz Extreme. I don't use anything like this for mac or PC since the computer, even a fast one, can take a very noticeable to severe performance hit. Quartz Extreme probably allows this to run better on OS X machines since it makes the video card do most of the work instead of the CPU. Video cards aren't that taxed in normal OS and basic application usage so I think its very smart off load the work to the GPU rather then add more work to the CPU.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, i was trying to place this screensaver as an active desktop. I knew that the Mac could do this but could not find anything comparable for WinXP. I know that programs like Sasami2K allow you to have a movie going as your desktop but nothing like this screensaver.
Ah well, I will keep hunting.

I have that screensaver too (Marine Aquarium) the more I see it the more I want to dump my tropical fish and get saltwater ones, lol. Though, I'd worry about the resources it uses. I would think that would slow down almost any computer if it were always running on the desktop! Though, still, I agree, it'd look real nice.
