Screen washout after visiting heatware

I have had a problem that I dont know if it is a video card problem, monitor problem, or the site I visit itself. It only seems to happen when I visit.. heatware .. If I stay there for a while and then exit to my normal pages the background colors are all washed out, as if I turned up the brightness level all the way or the gamma way up.. after awhile it settles back to normal, but is very irritating. This happens with ALL video cards I have had, some more pronounced than others. I am using a LaCie Electron19 BLue, which uses the Mitsubishi Diamond Pro series tube..Diamondtron Flat Aperture Grille..
a very high quality current generation monitor... As stated I ONLY get this visiting that site, all others are monitor friendly for me. Is it possible that dark black and blue is just too demanding for extended periods of time? Thanks for any input you might have..
