Can anyone tell me how to get a screenshot of my desktop ?
I know it is easy on my Mac.
Any clue ?
Thanks.😎

hit the button named Print
Scrn
SysRq

then go into MS paint and hit ctrl-V and you should be all set.

Assuming it is MS Windows there are two choices; either as loosbrew says you can press the printscreen button to take a snapshot of your current screen, or you can prees te combination of Alt & printscreen which will take a snapshot of the current application. As we are talking about your desktop what this will mean is the difference between a snapshoot of both desktop and taskbar (printscreen) or desktop only (Alt & printscreen).

Thank you all guys. I wanted to know how to do it on Win98.
Sorry for the confusion. My question is answered.

Just thought I should add this in....

If you want to capture just a "window" instead of the entire desktop...

Press: ALT + Print Screen
